Enhancing the figure of the famous nineteenth-century pianist Bruno Mugellini has been the concept of this festival from the beginning. Potenza Picena was his hometown, so that the Municipal Theatre has been named after him. The Mugellini Prize goes to the artists who follow Mugellini’s principles of life in their works.
The artistic direction is entrusted to Lorenzo Di Bella and Mauro Mazziero, providing an innovative proposal of contents: music and visual arts work together in harmony to create a journey across beauty, conceiving it from many points of view, and addressing young people.
That’s why every year the MuFe is committed to offer to a talented young musician the possibility to perform in a live concert, together with internationally renowned colleagues.
